Verification without giving up your number.

About Anon SMS

Every app wants a phone number. Handing over your real one means spam, data leaks, and a number that follows you everywhere. Anon SMS gives you a clean, temporary number for each verification instead.

What we do

We rent temporary phone numbers across 190+ countries and 800+ services, receive the one-time SMS code on your behalf, and show it to you in seconds. When you're done, the number retires itself — your personal number never touches the sign-up form.

How we keep it fair

You pay from a prepaid wallet, one number at a time, at a price shown before you buy. If a code never arrives, you're refunded automatically — no tickets, no chasing. That single rule shapes the whole product: we only make money when the service actually works for you.

Used responsibly

Temporary numbers are for legitimate account verification where you'd rather not expose your personal phone. Using them for fraud, spam, or to abuse other services isn't allowed — see our Acceptable Use Policy.

Who runs it

Anon SMS is run by a small independent team, not a call centre. Numbers are sourced from established wholesale SMS operators and resold at a published margin; we hold no stock of personal data beyond the account you sign up with and the activations tied to it. Support is a real inbox — support@anonsms.io — answered by the same people who build the product, usually within a day.

Ellis Marner leads number sourcing and message delivery, working directly with the upstream carriers and SMS aggregators that route one-time codes, and writes most of what appears on our blog.

What we keep and why is written out in the Privacy Policy, and the refund rules in the Refund Policy. Both say exactly what happens, with no clause reserving the right to change it quietly.
