Which country to pick for Telegram
Telegram is unusually tolerant about number origin — it does not silently discard codes for virtual ranges the way some social networks do — so the cheapest in-stock country is normally a perfectly good choice. That is why Telegram is one of the least expensive services on the whole catalogue.

Telegram verification questions
Can I use a temporary number to create a Telegram account?
Yes. Telegram only requires that a code can be delivered to the number during signup. Once the account is created you can add a username, set a login password and use Telegram without SMS again — but you will not be able to recover the account by SMS later, so set a cloud password immediately.
Will I be able to log in again later?
Only from a session that stays signed in, or with the two-step cloud password you set yourself. The rented number is released after the activation ends, so treat any account made this way as one you must keep signed in or protect with a password.
How long do I have to enter the code?
The number stays yours for about 20 minutes, which is longer than any verification screen keeps its own timer open. If the code has not arrived by the time the number expires, the charge is returned to your wallet automatically.
Do I pay if no code arrives?
No. You are charged when a code is delivered. If the SMS never lands before the number expires, or you cancel the number after the two-minute grace period because the service rejected it, the full amount goes straight back to your wallet balance.
