Google, Gmail & YouTube verification

Google verification number — receive a Gmail or YouTube SMS code

Google's phone check covers Gmail, YouTube and every other Google surface from a single verification. It is also the most demanding service in this catalogue: Google runs its own reputation scoring on number ranges and it is not shy about refusing to send.

Being honest about that matters more than selling you a number. Google is winnable, but it is the one service where the cheap ranges are close to useless and where a little patience pays for itself.

Expect to pay for a good range

Cheap Google stock exists because those ranges have been hammered. Google has scored them and stopped delivering. The countries that still work cost several times the catalogue floor, and that price is the honest cost of a range Google still trusts.

Check availability as well as price. A country showing very few numbers in stock is usually one that just started working and will be exhausted quickly.

Recovery matters more here than anywhere

A Google account verified with a rented number has no SMS recovery path once the number is released. Add a recovery email address, save the backup codes and enrol an authenticator app before you close the tab.

If Google later asks the same account to re-confirm by SMS, you will need a fresh number and Google may specifically want the original one — which no longer exists. Treat the recovery setup as part of the signup, not an optional extra.

What you get

  • A private number that only you can read codes on, live for about 20 minutes
  • The Google, Gmail & YouTube code shown on screen the moment it arrives
  • A resend control while the number is still active
  • Cancel two minutes in for a full refund if the service rejects the number
  • Automatic refund to your wallet when no code arrives at all

Google, Gmail & YouTube verification questions

Can I create a Gmail account with a temporary number?

Often, yes, but Google refuses more ranges than any other service. Choose a mid-to-upper-priced country, and add recovery email and an authenticator app immediately since SMS recovery will not be available later.

Why is Google more expensive than other services?

Because only ranges Google still trusts are worth selling for it, and those are scarce. The wholesale cost of a working Google range is genuinely higher, and the price you see reflects that rather than a surcharge.

How long do I have to enter the code?

The number stays yours for about 20 minutes, which is longer than any verification screen keeps its own timer open. If the code has not arrived by the time the number expires, the charge is returned to your wallet automatically.

Do I pay if no code arrives?

No. You are charged when a code is delivered. If the SMS never lands before the number expires, or you cancel the number after the two-minute grace period because the service rejected it, the full amount goes straight back to your wallet balance.

How do I pay for numbers?

You top up a wallet once — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or crypto, from $5 — and each number is a small one-off charge against that balance. There is no subscription and the balance does not expire.
